Oh, hallelujah, this is most wonderful news, Terri. Congratulations to you and Kit for all your persistence through the years. Thanks to Gary for the most amazing statistics he keeps and posts here. David Hancock will be happy to hear of this good news.

I just tried to view the cam via our Live Cameras page but nothing happened. I guess JudyB, our webmaster, will have to get the embed codes once again so our members can view your cams.

Good Morning Everyone!

Truly is a marvel to have the cam back. Thank you again. The picture is so crystal clear.

Calls were exchanged. Thought Spirit would come to the nest. He did not show

4;06pm...........I can see I'm going to have to figure out a way to ID Liberty and Spirit. From this angle we can't see Liberty's notch.

I'm taking a vacation day tomorrow, so will try to see what else we can do to support this wonderful pair!

If you were Liberty this terrible night,
you would have experienced the dreadful fright;
the wind was howling, such a wail,
with gusts to 50 in a gale.
Her head and body pressed to nest,
Our dear Miss Liberty passed each test.
Only a parent would endure such strife,
For the chance to create another life.

Well, it's corny, but you should have been here to experience the frightful sound of the wind. Steady winds at 30mph with gusts to 50mph so far tonight. I don't think Liberty could have stood up for an egg roll if she had wanted to. She would have been blown out of the nest. It gave me a whole new dimension in the way I perceive these incredible birds.
