Well that would be the biggest & best surprise of all if they did nest at Turtle Bay this season, Karen!!!

Meanwhile, I will contact the Riverview CEO and make arrangements to start visiting the nest down there in February to see if they are sitting on eggs, and then in March to see how many offspring they have!

Let's hope for another productive year for our Redding eagles!

We have had sooooooo much rain and soooooooo much wind here lately it's been crazy!!!!

On a positive note, Northern California is no longer in a drought!!! That is fantastic and very welcome news after being in a drought for 5 years!!!!

We have had many sightings of Liberty & Spirit on the Christmas Tree as we've been driving by on Highway 44 Bridge, but it's been too wet to get down there and get some shots!

Until this morning!!! I got down there around 8:30 and found our lovebirds perched atop their favorite "parking spot"!

There was some singing going on over there, and Sue got there a bit earlier than I did and suspected they may have mated/pair bonded before we got there?

Spirit did a nice wing stretch while Lib looked on...
