I had the cam up all day and evening and
Superman and K91 did not visit the nest.

No sign of Superman at all today.
Gosh i hope he is okay.

Big Bear - Update ...

K83 did make a visit at the Big Bear nest
just before dark tonight.




Hopefully tomorrow we see Superman ... talons crossed his is okay.

Good Morning CI Friends

As Dr. Sharpe is trialing steaming the nests via Utube i thought it helpful to share some Utube features available on the viewing screen.

Utubes does not have an extensive archives feature but they do allow you to back up the footage 4 hours so you can review earlier footage.
You can also adjust the speed of the footage.

Here are some pictures that show you how to change your settings and access the 4 hour archive feature.

To review earlier footage place your cursor on the ball at the end of the slider bar and drag it backwards.



To return to live footage just click on the live button

To adjust the speed of the footage click on the settings menu.


You can set the speed from there.

For those of you following the Big Bear cam here is some history on K83 the beautiful female that has been visiting the BB nest.

Morning Channel Islands Friends

WE
Superman and Thunder spent a long time on the nest yesterday and i happened to be online watching
when they were there ... Superman still appears to have a limp for some reason but otherwise he
looks well.



In this picture Superman's right foot/talons look discolored but lighting could be the reason.

October 16 2016 ...

BB Nest

At the Big Bear nest a young adult ... visited the nest.
He has some dark feathers blended in with his white head feathers so he may be about 4/5 years old.
Perhaps a mate for the female that we have seen at this nest!






After exiting the tree the adult returns but lands on branches below the nest.

doing some restorations and just hanging out at their nest.
