The Channel Islands kids have all fledged and the kids have been named!
Washi K72 (F) the Two Harbors fledgling has been visiting the old Two Harbors nest so we have been able to see some of those visits.
There was no cam on the new TH nest this season so we missed the majority of this season!
The West End panned out view cam shows the fledglings K-73 (M) Pascoe & K-74 (M) Haku soaring about the peaks!
No cam on the nest this year; high winds knocked out the cam!
The Bald Canyon Cam is not working at the moment ... the fledglings K-76 (M) Wrigley & A-32 (F) Keena have also been visiting the nest to rest and for food drops!
The Fraser Point fledglings are all male and they were named as follows: A-02 (M) Henry, A-03 (M) Theos & A-04 (M) Barrett
As there was no cam on the new FP nest we were not able to watch the kids grow!
Fledge Dates
Wrigley fledged June 28th at 5:47am - Bald Canyon Nest
Keena- fledged July 2nd at 1027 am - Bald Canyon Nest
Henry, Theos & Barrett - Unknown Fledge Dates
Washi confirmed as a Fledgling on June 26th - Two Harbors Nest
Pascoe & Haku confirmed as Fledglings on June 21st - West End Nest
May you enjoy all of the simple "pleasures or gifts" that surround you.

Dr. Sharpe and Nate recently visited the Sauces nest and they retrieved some egg shells for analysis ... hopefully we will gain some information on why all 8 eggs broke!
Here is Dr. Sharpe's post from IWS on FB
Nate and I excavated the Sauces nest yesterday to try to recover some eggshells for analyses. We found about a dozen pieces that the Montrose Trustees will have analyzed to see if there are obvious problems with the eggs that can explain why at least 8 eggs were laid and broke this season.
Here is a picture of them at the nest ... compliments of IWS

Hi Debs and friends here.....
It's gratifying to hear of the many successes this season on different nests. It is even more gratifying to know they are going to try to figure out why Sauces kept losing its eggs.
They surely tried.
smiles to all who love these eagles and eaglets,
carolyn
