It is a beautiful day with nice warm temperatures. The eagles have been busy at the nest all morning. So happy to see you two, Bev and Ferenz. Thanks for the pictures and the Halloween greeting too.

10:43am to 10:45am both on the nest again.

The eagles were on the nest before sunrise.

8:57am Dad is on the left top side of the nest. He is watching but not working.

9:06am He moves to the bottom left and flies up above.

Mom was asleep on the nest at 4:25am. This is certainly early for her to spend the night.

6:50am Eagles on the nest. 1 is off over the bottom left side of nest. One is settled down in the nest.


7:10am Eagle is up now.





7:19am exits over the left side of the nest.

7:55am Working near the right fence.
8:12am Both eagles are working in the nest now.

8:38am One eagle leaves flying off over the left side of the nest. The other moves to the right side of the nest and is off.

Hey, Donna, I wasn't aware of any eagle having two bands so I went to the first page of this thread to see the history but nothing is showing. I'm sure that David Hancock would like this information. That is so unusual for a bird to have more than one band.

Hi Karen I added the band information to the first page. I have seen other eagles with 2 bands but I could not immediately say where they were located. I think it was at the Richmond nest that
we were talking about banding and it was mentioned that one band was for the state where the eagle hatched and the other was a Federal band. Here is a photo of the eagle with the two bands.
