Good morning. I thought the cam was down last night when all I saw was a blotchy mess and it wasn't until I read your reports about the snow that I realized what was happening thanks.

Looking in just before 8 am I see the two eaglets sitting up in the Centre of the nest that was kept dry by both parents sheltering their twosome last night.
Great parents.

The eaglets are looking around in wonder and seem not to know what to make of this cold white stuff. It's good to see that they are well feathered and hopefully the food supply holds out for them.

Good Morning all.. I was so worry when i heard there was to be snow there. I prayed that what Happened would NOT happen again.

Praying that the snow will move fast throw and there will be food and tomorrow as i read its to be in the 60's.

The parents were on the nest all night sheltering the eaglets. As the pictures above show they have been staying in the area that has no snow.
The parents were off the nest when it was not snowing. It is snowing again and one parent is sheltering the eaglets.

8:45am




Parent and eaglets are poofy as they have fluffed out the feathers and are trapping heat back toward their body. Parent is doing its best to shelter them.

8:04 Can't tell what parent is on the nest, probably mom but the other parent just made a quick landing and takeoff behind mom so might have brought food.

9:00am to 10:30am Parent watching over the eaglets.

11:00am to 11:11am Parent comes into the nest with food and begins to feed the eager chicks. She manages to block the view of the feeding.


That is a big piece.


Feeding is over.

4:14pm Parent on the nest with the eaglets. The snow has melted around the nest. It is not snowing at the moment.

5:49pm Feeding


8:50pm After being on the nest alone for awhile, Dad arrives with food.
