7:28am The eaglets are snuggled close to Dad. They were sleeping out of the nest bowl before midnight, but are snuggled in now. The weather is going to continue to be warm.



Good Morning Bluebird and Darlene. Thank you for your posts.

It has been a very peaceful evening. Temperature is currently 55 degrees so still quite warm. It is supposed to be hot tomorrow. Everyone is sleeping peacefully at the moment. Dad and mom were talking to each other a little while ago so I know dad is in the tree above them!

Good morning Darlene, Bluebird, and all who follow this nest.

These eaglets are now 18 and 17 days old. They are beginning to get pin feathers and be able to maintain their own body temperature. They appear to be very calm eaglets. I have
seen some "bonking", but not much. There is plenty of food and the first turtle was delivered to the nest yesterday.

7:18am Parent is up above on the limb. E34 and E35 are snuggled in the nest.

Kept losing the cam today but it has been an uneventful day which is a good thing on this nest. I saw 2 feedings but haven't seen much food being delivered today or much food on the nest. Evening might be better for hunting when it is a little cooler. It is currently 72 degrees at the nest.

As I posted this I think a parent arrived with food, no looks like leftovers. Meal taking place at 7:30. Both babies have healthy looking crops so I am thinking I might have missed a few feedings today.

Babies are snuggled up out of the bowl tonight. Temperature is currently 57 degrees.

These chicks have very big crops. I am also seeing many crop drops as I watch through the day.


E35 moves close to mom after eating at the left side of the nest.

They are eating turtle.




They are growing so fast.
