9:40am both on the nest.

10:35am Both on the nest.

2:39pm to 3:33pm One of the eagles is at the nest. It stands for 10 minutes watching around the nest then gets busy moving sticks. Then it preens and watches. Before it leaves the nest it tests the nest bowl.



5:45pm Mom is at the top of the nest eating.
5:27pm She is off.
6:07pm Dad is eating at the top of the nest now. Was still there at 6:15pm and I had to leave.

7:37pm No eagles at the nest.

9:41pm Mom is resting on the nest. Morning will tell if this is more than resting

5:58am Mom tucked in on the nest. She has been there all night.


6:36am both on the nest.


6:35am Mom goes up to the perch above 7 o'clock (nest position like on a clock)
6:56am She is back on the nest.
6:58am Vocals and no answer. more vocals and calls again
7:11am One of them is up on the perch at 7.
7:59am Mom is on the nest.
8:11am Mom is the same I am off.

8:11am Mom is on the nest.
9:00am She is still there.
9:19am Dad has joined her.
9:22am He tests the nest.
9:35am Dad is off

10:06am Both are on the nest when I come back. Mom is at center nest digging and Dad joins her. There are soft vocals from mom.
10:28am Mating on the nest.
10:54am Both are off the nest.

1:50pm Dad is on the nest with food. Looks like prairie dog. 2:30pm Mom arrives and eats the food. Dad seems to have left it after eating a small amount.



6:39pm Mom is on the nest.
6:59pm Mom is preening. She tucks in as she stands on the nest at 7:08pm
7:33pm She is still tucked in.



She has done this before when she is within a day or two of laying an egg. But only she knows if that is why she is here tonight.
