9:15am Mom is alone on the nest now.

Mom and dad were on the nest so quietly watching around the area from 2:05pm to 2:55pm when Mom left. Dad stayed until 3:10pm. Dad called out a few times. Perhaps there were some Red Tailed Hawks around.
They may have been asserting their nest ownership. Hard to know.

It is a sunny day with temperatures in the 40's.

10:24am Both eagles are perched on the perch above the nest.


10:25am One drops down to the nest.

10:32am The incoming eagle has a big stick. They begin to maintain the nest and move sticks.





10:34am Mom on nest alone now.



I am out for awhile.

12:51pm One of the resident eagles is eating at the top of the nest.


12:54pm Eagle is incoming and it also has food They are probably eating prairie dogs.


12:58pm Mom leaves.

1:00pm Maggie and the Scavengers keep Dad company and then clean up.

9:30am to 11:00am I have not seen eagles when I have checked.
