No,Markus. what I'm saying is the infra red is self contained in the cam itself---there is no separate lamp. What you are seeing is possibly a second nest cam but we are waiting for an announcement from the cam owners. I have already said more than I should as a mod for SWFEC so let's just wait and see what the Pritchetts have to say---it will be soon!!!

hi MaryF,
I supposed it's the one i asked for, some months ago.
A great angle cam, always focusing toward the nest ... ?
I say that because as E9 was able to fly, the nestcam stayed focus toward the pond or elsewhere in the direction E9 flew to, and as E9 entered the nest we spent, sometimes, a lot of time before the cam moves toward the nest. We were able to hear his delicious melody but it was impossible to see him. Just an idea...

Hello everyone. I visited the nest this morning. Harriet & M15 added 3 sticks this am, spending time together placing and rearranging with 'beaking' discussions on placement. There was bonding under the guise of mating. A juvenile Bald Eagle flew through the nest tree pasture. A Cooper's Hawk and a Wood Stork were also seen.

Vicki! What a wonderful surprise to see today's new video from you! Thank you! wave

What do you think about that juvie that came around today? H&M didn't make a big fuss that the juvie flew by. E9 has only been gone for about 4 months now.
Hmm, things that make you go Hmm Chin Wink

Mary, I am wondering if this might be what is confusing some people? I'm guessing what I have in the pale yellow box in the picture is the light sensor for the cam so that it knows when to turn on the infra red? (Screen shot taken from wskrsnwings video from today, 9/26/2017.)
