NEST OBSERVATIONS CONTINUED

6:20 I am at the nest. H and M are perched in the outer attic.

6:45 morning vocals

7:12 H to the nest followed by M

7:16 h to the porch spike M lays in the nest bowl.

7:18 h fly off to OCT

7:26 M to the attic.

NEST ACTIVITY CONTINUED

7:39 M fly off to the Front pine church side

7:42 M back to the nest with nest material.

7:43 M to the veranda and then attic then fly off.
At nest tree branch. Misses. To wp tree. Back-and-forth through the trees then back to the nest with a big stick

7:47 M back with a stick.

7:49 M to the veranda.

7:50 M fly off - across the road

9:17 H out to front pine. Perches. Goes at branch. Gets it. Back to nest.

9:22 veranda to attic.

9:24 nest to outer branch. Vocal.

9:38 Harriet flies from the outer branch to the south, out of sight. M has not returned.

NEST OBSERVATIONS CONTINUED

3:03 H arrives with pine bough.

3:13 M arrives with a nice fish. H vocal and takes her gift.

3:13 M in with catfish for H

3:18 M fly off.

To the pond.

3:19 M to the pond. He is seen scooting back out from the edge... lolol. I bet one of the snapping turtles got close to his toes.

lol we'll have to count his toes when he returns to the nest.

3:23 M gets a stick at the pond bank and back to the nest.

3.24 M returns to the nest to H's welcoming hello

3:25 M to the attic.

3:27 both seem to be tracking and cautious.

Lots of vocals/alerts so something has them talking

H is looking south and SW and west

3.43 H back to eating her fish M still perched on the attic branch

3.49 M left the tree

3.52 M to the nest, moving moss around.

M up on the veranda and on to the attic branch again.

H moves her fish to the other side of the nest and continues to eat

Went back and looked at the fish delivery it was only headless. The rest was intact.

H has her own precision skills.

3:58 M fly off the attic.

M? on the power pole.

Can't be certain but looks like it

Maybe s shore bird with head tucked back on the back? Maybe hawk?

4:05 H to the porch feaking

4:06 H to the pond.

4:16 H to the Church tree.

NEST OBSERVATIONS CONTINUED

4:27 looks like that fish had tough skin.

Maybe a gar fish.

H left the church tree

4.47 looks like M left pole too, panning on cam 2 see no eagles in the pasture, at the pond or in the tree.

5.05 H comes to the nest from the front pines

She checks the nest out, moves the tough ole fish, moves a couple branches.

She steps over toward the rails at the porch, hops over to the porch spike.

5.11 She leaves the spike and the tree toward the pond or church

Cam 2 pans and no sign of her in the pasture areas on the poles or in the church tree.

Looks like a hollowed out fish skin on the nest

A Bright Morning To Add Sticks, Cast Pellets, Vocalize 11-05-16

M15 adds two sticks before leaving the pasture area at 7:50 AM. Harriet remains in the pasture area vocalizing off and on. She also casts a large pellet and adds one stick before leaving the pasture area at 10 AM.

NEST ACTIVITY CONCLUDED

6.39 eagle to the attic branch

6:40 M to the nest

6:41 and off he goes

6:44 M back to the nest and carries off the fish skin

6:45 both to the nest

Looked like H brought the fish back with her, then at 6.48 there was a bit of a tug o fish and of course H got it.

6.49 M went to porch. Flew off?

6.54 M is at the pond

6.57 M brought some grasses back to the nest from the pond, H moves a stick to the rail, both on the nest.

7.02 M is laying in the nest, H spreads a little moss about. M gets up and goes to the attic

IR's have kicked on and I think they may be perched for the night, will see.
