Hi All -
I have been keeping up with the new nest building and had a question about the nest. I was wondering if anyone has a last year photo from the ground of the height of the nest to where it is today - as a comparison?
Just wondering if they have caught up to last years nest size/height. Now that there has been storms and sunshine the dark areas and PS marks from last year have faded making it difficult for us cam viewers to tell how it compares.

Thank YouThanks goes out to wskrsnwings for her hard work and early wake-up calls to show us all the great work H & M are doing getting a new nest built! Bravo

A One Stick Morning~Harriet and M15 Leave Early 10-11-16

M15 added one large stick before sunrise, spending time placing it just right while Harriet vocalized softly and watched. Both flew from the nest tree by 7:30am. The crib rails continue to get higher and thicker.

Hello dsguill. Thank you for your kind words. I spent most of my time on the Pritchett driveway side last year so most of my nest photos are from that side. I quickly looked and did find a photo from the church side, 10-3-15 that I will compare to a photo from today. Remember that the nest last year had 9 years of additions, so the new nest will never be as big as the old one for quite a few years. I hope these two photos help you out though. Take care. Thanks Vicki for the comparison shots. The nest is coming along and looking good even with it only being a month old. I was thinking it went out to about even with the veranda branch where this year it isn't quite there. I do worry about that one limb that comes out and goes straight up once we have eaglets trying out their new found wings. Wouldn't want that to become a hazard to them. I'm sure I'm just being a worry wart and H & M will continue adding sticks to extend that nest out to that area and eventually cover up that limb. They are master builders they will make it perfect!
Now my thoughts are turning toward when we'll see eggs this year...Will it be on the previous late Nov time or will it be Dec like last year? Chin

And the answer is 'On Eagle Time'
