This nest was very successful last season with the hatching of both eggs and the fledging of both beautiful eaglets, Nick and Noel. We are hoping for another great season this year!!

August 25, 2016 - an eagle was seen at the nest - and it wasn't Romeo or Juliet!

The visitor spent some time at the nest, and perched as if she (observers thought she looked large and likely female) was right at home. There's a chance it was a former offspring - but as the eaglets here aren't banded, there's no way of knowing that.

The visitor returned on August 26, and according to the AF cam operators was comfortable enough to take a nap in the nest, though they didn't post a screenshot of that. Eaglespirit did make another video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIyuC7A-0VI - and this capture is from it.

Romeo arrive home at 6:45 am on the morning of August 27, carrying moss for the nest!

By September 3rd, Romeo and the Visitor were appearing a bit more comfortable with each other - though it was not the relaxed attitude of a bonded pair - and then at dusk on September 4, another visitor stopped by!

A few minutes later, the initial Visitor returned, and the younger eagle left quickly.
