oh my goodness, just getting home and Bev THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Big hugsBig hugs

I had an incredibly busy day without even stopping for lunch but am so very very happy to see that
beautiful Mom is Home sweet Home! She looks so healthy and so strong!
I can't wait to see the videomarks that you made, and I loved your comment about being so excited that
you could barely type! Titter

I wish that I could have posted earlier, (thank you so much for the pm Bev! that made my day!) but my day was just so crazy.

Very excited to see the eagle, at Mom + Dad's perch tonight! Oooh! Can't wait to see them both on the nest! (still need to look at the video)

Thank You everyone for your posts and pics today as well, sleep well friends!

added -- incredible view of Mom's take off from the babysitting branch, north cam view! Awesome!

Bev, Judy and everyone!! I've looked at the "Videomark of the eagle that flew to Mom + Dad's perch close to the nest" several times
and at 18:32:26
a second eagle flies in and lands above the one already perched there....could that be Mom on the perch first (broken tail feather), and then Dad joins her landing just above her on a higher branch?
I tried to capture it from your videomark Bev....pretty tough to do....tried a few times
but here's the best of a few tries....lol... Wink I am so excited!!

--- my gosh, I really think we are looking at our beloved Honeycombs Red Heart

How exciting to see Ma and probably Pa in that video. Thanks for letting me know, Bev. This is the first chance I've had today to check the forums.

I've heard from the Fraser River Safari that did a boat tour on the Harrison this week and reported seeing 300 eagles out there on the Flats. The numbers will increase each day now as we get closer to the Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival on Nov. 19 and 20, just 5 weeks from now!! This year I know of folks coming from Georgia, Pennsylvania (Gail), California, Washington State, Ontario and the Sunshine Coast of BC, but there are many attending that I don't know.

oh my gosh Michelle I'm so glad you caught that. I was watching the video mark this morning and I spotted the second eagle too, but couldn't capture it.

This is so wonderful our pair may be together again. Red Heart

Good morning all, 2:19 am and no one home on the nest, but it won't be long I'm sure

Good Morning Honeycombs, Michelle ,Karen , Pat and all who watch this this and I agree Michelle .. I watched it again also .. and saw the second eagle .. wonderful ! Sorry .. I missed that last night .very embarrassed.. I hope we see both at the nest today... then we will know for sure ..love. I reported yesterday that i felt Dad was around.. what I found strange is that Mom left ..maybe to perch above the nest,.. I don't know or place more sheltered ....usually both stayed Puzzled and Karen you are welcome ! WOW! that is great about so many eagles.... thanks for that news .I hope many attend the FVBEF.,. happy you are Gail !

I would just like to take a moment to thank you for this wonderful article Judy

This is another Excellent Article by Judy B.

Impact of Sibling Rivalry As Seen on Web Cams
Friday, January 31 2014 @ 07:20 PM AST
Contributed by: JudyB
HERE

I've seen the link several times, but hesitated to read it because I didn't really want bad news or to see something heartbreaking. Of all the things that can happen to eagles, sibling rivalry is the most upsetting to me, although I understand it, it does disturb me. But your article gave me great hope, and made this easier to accept.

Thank you so much. Thank You
