Congratulations to our Honeycombs and to all the devoted followers of this nest. Patience pays off here year after year with the later laying.
I wish Pa would give Ma a break in this wet weather rather than just a headless small fish.

Thanks Sandra and I agree .. Mom needs a break! This is not like Dad ..he always loved to incubate the eegs and brood the chicks... I suspect he is having a tough time fishing and /or finding prey in this nasty weather ! I do wonder if Dad saw the egg??

Short Videomarks... Dad Honeycomb passing mom a small headless fish and left right away ..Mom ate her fish .. we had a view of the egg and settled Mom back on it !~ It is raining and windy!

I zoomed around out front... and no sign of Dad perched by the river where we often see him and Mom also ... the rain on the cam lens made it difficult to see as I was zooming around the rest of the area...

I am back ..Mom cont. to incubate the egg!

In the past Mom laid her eggs 4 days apart ... and if she does that this time .. she will lay the second egg on April 1st... that will be on your birthday Judy and David Hancocks also )
