Hi again! Nice to see both eagles in the nest a minute ago.

Eagles arriving at 2:26pm It looks like maybe Dad came first - followed by Mom but no way to be sure about that. I don't think I see a band on the first eagle, but not sure...[and it doesn't really matter lol] But it does confirm Judy's ob that the first eagle didn't bring anything to the nest...


The 2nd eagle veered off to the left and we can't get a good look at it.


ADD: Bev, I can take a cam for an hour. If you'd like a break from the NPTZ, let me know, otherwise, I'll sign in to the SPTZ. Dinner's in an hour, but I would be able to come back after that for a bit of time ...

I just managed to get the archive, but had lots of trouble earlier trying to get to WE!! Sorry you're having the same problem -

All quiet here - Mom is sitting in the nest and grooming - she just made one soft call a few seconds ago.

No change with Mom in the nest - a few soft calls.


6:59pm Mom may be calling in vain - Dad is perched at the riverview No fish in those trees ....


7:06pm Mom continues to call occasionally - maybe Dad is returning her calls, but I can't hear him...

7:09pm Dad left his perch...

7:21pm Another quiet call from Mom...she seems calm and relaxed, though ...

Mom's watching Mom and Dad's perch - where Dad usually goes at night when Mom is in the nest. I don't see him there. He often stops by the nest for a short visit before going to the perch ...

This is not a good scap - but it shows Dad is on his night perch - Mom just called softly to him.


ADD: I don't get the sense that Mom is an eagle in labour - but, I haven't seen that many egg-layings either, so .......

BB in a few minutes ....

I think Mom is asleep ...

It's now raining and quite windy - Mom hasn't changed position - looks like she is settled in for now.
