Maybe it's the perspective, but it looks as if Divot is almost directly below the spur that comes out from the tree trunk...I think that looks close.

Been away for a few hours now. Quite the pickle he got himself into, but he will figure it out.
Makes you worried but he will be fine.

Divot has not moved since earlier. Divot is looking around but no progress has been made to proceed to the nest.
Maybe trying to figure out his next move.
Could be a lot of sticks from the nest hanging down which are blocking his path.

Good afternoon all! Been watching for a while and decided to chime in. Just love these two eaglets and the way Ma has hung in there for them. I caught this shot at 12:30 when divot was calling out and appeared to stick his head out.

Love is found in unexpected places.....It is there in the quiet moment when we first discover a beautiful thing.....When we watch a bird soar high against a pale blue sky.....(unknown author)

If he's where he is, does that branch come out further? He's on a branch there yes?

At least he's in the shade . It took Glory (think it was Glory) about 2 or 3 days to get back. He was in a similar spot in DC. ..right under neath the nest. It was warm there too, but he was ok. Its hard not to worry though.
