Momma Belle fed the baby from 722 to 728 am then brooding resumed.

Raining at the nest so Momma Belle is using her Mumbrella to keep Lil One dry

mom jumped awake and is staring into nest bowl, looking at her chick hope all is ok, baby wouldn't eat tonight and just wanted to sleep. and why is mom staring at him?? praying all is ok.

Sad news this morning; the baby has not been seen or fed; the sweet baby chick has passed on.

Rest in Peace Lil One ... Soar High and Forever Free

I was watching last night and noticed the chick was not interested in food at supper time; it
was not fed before bed i had hoped like you that the chick was just in a food coma but i knew it was
not normal behavior.

Just after 9 pm last night the chick was awake and peeping and cheeping lots to Mom.
I also observed Mom not brooding the chick at times ... it raised red flags.
That is the last time i heard the chick.

I actually did a video as i had a feeling something was off ...

Belle removed the tiny body of the chick and later (149 pm) Dad delivered a fish to his Lady Belle.
So sad to watch this pair lose their only chick ...
