Someone is walking in the open field; pauses and looks towards
the nest frequently. Taking pictures perhaps.

It was a busy day at the nest ... the birds were in and out doing repairs.
Belle assumed the laying position a few times ... and just about the same
time the cam went down ....grrrrr! But alas no egg today and thankful to
since there is the winter advisory for this area.

The live cam came back up after dark so it is streaming again.
Hopefully Belle waits till the weekend but egg number one could
appear anytime now.

The birds left then returned briefly after dark; then poof
they were gone again.

I heard Belle call out a few times ... non stress calls.
Like she was talking to Smitty about something.

Morning Doreen & Friends wave

Well the winter storm advisory has been dropped; the storm left a blanket of snow everywhere but things do not look too bad.
Windy conditions persist with gusts upwards to 30 mph.

The resident pair visited early this morning at first light and Dad was just in with some bedding.
Will today be the day ... guess we will see.
