i hope this pair is able to keep the eggs warm during this weekends storm. for those of you who don't know that area is getting pounded with a big snow storm. i mean 20 inches big. god i hope they make it. it is going to take several days for this snow to melt, maybe even a couple of weeks. for those who wish it a dry snow...no way, this is as wet as it gets

The cam has been down for awhile.

Weather reports are the snow fall has reached 24 inches.
I sure hope the family comes thru okay!! Talons crossed
but the wt of this snow might be too much!

Blackwater cam is down but there is another way to access this cam here is the link! You do have to register but it is free!

I do not like the blinking ads at the top of the cam; but like to see Ma so will put
up with the annoying blinkers Grin

nothing but awesome. me thinks because the storm is over and the temps may warm up tomorrow mom and pop will clear away matters and get on with the task at hand. i hope the eggs stayed warm warm enough. yeah baby

well lets hope they can keep the eggs warm enough for the next few days. i can't imagine the temps being eighty withing the next few days. the snow has to melt....th e whole thing is a mess. i can't understand why bald eagles in the east have to lay eggs so early....winter is not over until the end of feburary.

nice set of shots. it is great to see the sun shining on the nest eggs and that the storm has passed. can anyone give me a little info on the nest...is it in a tree and how high up and is near water....those kinds of things. thanks
