Oh what a sweetheart. Dad brought Mom a trout which she grabbed and flew off with.
As soon as she was gone Dad bellied down into the bowl for a bit of a rest.

I have a feeling Dad is more anxious to have eggs than Mom is. He takes every opportunity to test the bowl and lay in it. I haven't seen her do that much, if at all.

7:28 a.m.

Hello again, Ernie. Yes, on there is an Enmax camera functional as of Tuesday. Here is their link:

https://www.enmax.com/community/keeping ... he-ospreys

And although i haven't visited the new location is apparently close to the muskox enclosure at the zoo.

***Thank You. I found the video camera and want to get my ladder & go help dad get that darn log into position. No matter what he does it rolls right back at him. I think it's another branch from that log caught up in others that springs it back. Do you think he'll listen when I holler at the computer screen!! Not even a little!!
***Now if only I could get my old computer to open up that video camera. No luck so far but I'm like them osprey, I never give up.
***Nice to see everyone here & looking forward to spending another season with our osprey family.

Good day everyone ~~ Ernie, so great to see you here again!

Well, the rain was so nice a little earlier, now the temp has dropped a couple degrees, and we
have sleet.....well, looking more and more like snow pellets now.....but still above zero for now -- 3 C, or 37 F
we will take any moisture we can get!

Judy, wonderful to see that Mom and Dad had a good brekkie. Smile Funny how Dad is very gung-ho about trying out the nest...so sweet
thanks to all for the updates and scaps

12:56 pm Mom perched on the side.

Dad went back to fighting with the contrary stick he brought in this am. He's been fighting with it all day.

Hi Ernie - I have been telling him to pick it up with his feet and drop it over the side, but he isn't listening!

BET, I think that was a whitefish.

I "borrowed" this from the Alberta Fishing Regulations . It shows the most common fish in the Bow. I've also posted it to the third post on our first page so we have it as reference if we need it.

Dad's back fighting with the branch again. I can only imagine how frustrated he must be when it won't cooperate. Worked on it for a bit, stood around then flew off.

He came back to give it another try.
First dragging it to the left front of the nest.

Picked it up and brought it all the way to the right back and it fit into place.

I thought it was in a perfect spot but he didn't and he drags it to the middle of the bowl again. Oh My What a character !

By 5:35 pm he has it in place again. It must be okay with him because he flies off at 5:36 . Mom is still gone and likely enjoying that fish.
