9:34 pm at the nest. Just heard one eaglet call out and a distant trill from one of the Dad's. Nest is empty and the frog chorus is quite loud. Well too late for any of them to come in.

Good morning Cheryl. Maybe Sunny will visit the nest this morning. She was nearby the nest when it got dark. Called out several times. So if Sunny stayed there she might come in.

Good Morning Trio nest watchers.
Good Morning to everyone who posted many times on our thread, Sue, Sandy, Carole, Judy, Debs, Andrea, Jennifer, Venus.
A special big thank you to Rita, without whom, we would all be totally lost, whose vast knowledge and experience has taught us all so much. When I arrived on January 29th 2017, I had been watching eagles only for a few weeks, but Rita has unfailingly helped me, taught me, shown me and given information on a range of topics related to the eagles no matter how daft my questions, even though she had a very demanding job.
Even now, I still have so much to learn and it is to Rita I go first.
Thank you Rita.
It is offence with a huge fine under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act to go near a nest. Watch the cams and enjoy them without disturbing them!

A few minutes ago, heard scratching on the cam. Hoped to see an eaglet land in the nest but not to be right now.
7:29 nest time - more scratching on the cam.
Chery, would like to say "ditto" to your comments. Thanks so much, Rita, for your help to me in learning the eagle way.

Yeah, that is most likely to happen today. I think we have an eaglet in the nest tree above the cam. Have heard scratching noises on the cam. Just wish this youngster would go to the nest.

It's going to be another really hot day for the eagles and eaglets. There is a bit of wind too so I hope that helps. Really hope the Dad's have taken them to a good spot in the river for a drink or a good bath.
