Doreen I was reading back and i agree ... earlier ... it looked like Smitty had something in his talons and it looked like Belle was eating something too ... wonder what the meal was.

An early start to the day, when Belle faces the camera her chest has that bleached look I associate with a developing brood patch. Lots of sticks this morning, some beaking, Spot doesn't back down from her, she clubbed him pretty good with a log and he let her know it made him not happy
