IT is going to adjust the cam and pull it back a bit so that the entire nest can be viewed.

805 am
Geese heard flying overhead; small bird
explores the nest.

Horn honks a few times.

Nest is MT.

hi Deb, hope you had an easy day at work, I thank you for your reports and scaps last couple days, very nice. I just tuned in and could hear a pretty chirping song from the area somewhere, nest is full of shadows in the setting sun and very windy also. it will be nice when they fix the cam so we can see the top of the nest, even if part of the bottom is blocked, the birds are or it seems, always at the top, at 12 o clock. I was watching last night on/off, and didn't realize again my cam was frozen, refreshed and it was totally dark so probably missed Belle that way.

508pm nest very windy, and no eagles ( posting this late a bit)
523pm no change
642pm nest still empty, night time lights were flashing on/off few minutes ago. nest empty, maybe they will come soon

well, Belle and Smitty made a very brief appearance at 657pm, then left at 658pm Grin it was like " let's drop by the house dear and make sure all is good" Titter cam still not adjusted so can't get tops of them but they were not there long anyway, so just a few scaps, Smitty seemed in a big hurry to leave tonight

657pm the eagles land on the nest, left by 658pm, super short visit, under a minute

I sent an email to NCTC this morning ... here is a copy of my email and their prompt response

October 16

Good Morning Clayton and Rob

I am really enjoying the new high definition eagle cam ... the detail that we can now see on the birds and in the nest is fantastic!

We wondered if you could pull back the cam a bit so that we can observe the entire nest.

Also, would it be possible for the cam to be set to do a brief tour of the nest tree and surrounding area once a day at the same time every day.
A short tour once a day would really enhance the learning.

Thanks so much for all you guys do to keep us "eagle connected" it is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Deb Stecyk, Eagle Observer & Friends of the NCTC Supporter

Hi Deb,

The camera is panned out as far as it will go.

I moved the angle up slightly so the eagle heads are not cut off.

I will ask Steve about the daily tour, and investigate whether the camera supports this type of automation.

Thank you,
Rob

My response to Rob

Thanks Rob

I will pass this along to some of the regular observers and supporters and look forward to hearing about a daily scheduled tour.

Have a great weekend.

Deb
