Christine - your community gardeners won't have to do any weeding this year if Pa keeps this up! Thanks for that post - I saved the pictures of Pa in the garden that you posted earlier - they were great!

Karen: I had suggested the name " Terry" which is both a female and male name so it is appropriate for either sex. I forgot about not naming the eaglets after people so I like the Fargo suggestion instead . It was Terry's suggestion so it is apropos.

I've been watching the eagles this morning. Pa did a lot of preening on the east branch he likes to use. And he has visited the garden twice this morning. I am really hoping he doesn't take my garlics, but so far he has preferred dead old plants. He flew back to the nest with his plant and then took off again this time heading east. Lady has been at the nest for most of the morning. I am going walk to the nest now and check things out. Maybe I had better check on my garlics, too - haha!!

Looks like Pa and Lady are trying for that second egg or could it be third as ma Lafarge RIP and Pa has had several seasons with 3 eaglets/fledglings in the past .....great ground photos

Thank you Karen! When appropriate I will continue to write...or "as the spirit moves'. I adore the name Fargo, hope all goes well and it is used to a successful fledge.
I too felt Lady was "Lady", it's such a beautiful thought.

The Lady came in the dark of night (poetic license) bringing with her joy.
Dad Lafarge knew her to be the one, and set out to win her.

He won, she won, we won, and now we can wait to see what will be.
