Good morning, everyone!

11:53 am
Lady is still (or back) on the AN rail, but I didn't get a s'cap. I tried to log in to see if I could zoom in a bit more, and got in - but then the embedded cam went to spinning circle and the direct cam froze, so the signal coming from Lafarge apparently stopped briefly.

I'll send an email to Ken to let him know it's still doing that - though I'm not sure what he can do.

12:03 am
I got a few closeups of Lady though I couldn't keep the direct access cam up long enough to log in and stop the patrol - and probably don't want to do that because heaven only knows how long it would take before I could get in to start it up again. I tried to look at the band - but really think we need her closer for that, and I also couldn't get a good look at the back of her head.

Pa is on the LB, as are a few crows.

12:10 pm
Lady just flew down and to the left. Not seeing her on rotations yet.

5:10pm - would you believe an eagle on the LB? It's raining!

For several days the cam either doesn't come up for me, or if it does it quickly cuts off. Same just now, I did see that the AN was empty (nice clear view).
Thank you for all of your s'caps and comments here, including the great on-the-ground observations.

Eastvan Girl

Good Morning,
I checked to see if Lady and Pa's nest on Pandora is still in the tree after last night's big storm…all looks well..but that tree is sure swinging. I saw Pa recently on the church steeple and wished I had my camera with me, it would have been an amazing picture. Sometimes the two of them sit on the church cross together, one on each side like a couple of bookends! And two days ago I saw Pa in a neighbours backyard garden steeling some old plants for the Pandora nest, he flew up with them in his talons. Last year Ma took two dead broccoli plants from my garden and when she flew away with them they looked like two pontoons on her feet. That was so funny, and amazing because I was in the garden at the time and she was only about 30 feet away from me. It's wonderful to have these eagles as neighbours and when they help to weed the garden that's even better - haha! Have a great morning everyone.

How wonderful to hear your reports on our eagle couple Eastvan Girl! I can tell you are a true eagle lover as are we all here. Thank you especially for reporting on the nest this morning. During the wind in the night I thought about our nests, especially since some have eggs now. I'm so glad you enjoy the eagles' antics in the neighbourhood. Grin

I'm glad I caught this scap before the possible closeup as the cam did cut out before I was able to get a closer one. Braced in the wind of our pineapple express.

8:55 Feathers are really blowing, stance tells impact of the wind. I'm surprised s(he) is not protected within a tree.

This is the best closeup I could get, just the edge with feathers blowing. Grin
