Harriet Is Seen But Not At The Nest + Another Rocket Launch 10-02-15
There is a 'surprise' ending, the rocket contrails spelling out "O" for Ozzie. Harriet was not at the nest overnight, but was seen flying with the sub adult following, from south to north to perch on the power poles. We see the rocket pass by that launched at 6 AM from Cape Canaveral, FL. The way of the eagle continues to unfold before our eyes. May we observe and learn and not judge or predict. Ozzie would want us to go forward with Harriet. Miss you, Ozzie.

Quote by: wskrsnwings Quote by: OpalDid the tree loose a branch? Seems there is zero coverage over the nest.
Second question is it at all possible for lady harriet to be carrying eggs from m15.?
Slim been around today?
Hi Opal, only the ones Harriet has been snatching. Eagles, and hawks, will sometimes break even shade providing branches from the nest tree for easier access in and out. When M15 was still with Harriet, it seemed that she was grabbing more branches from the nest tree this year. And if you think about it, M15 still had quite the time finding easy access into the nest with his branches and/or just himself. Harriet may instinctively been "clearing a path" for M15. Don't you like my logic?
There are branches above that provide shade. As the sun moves throughout the day, there are times when the whole nest is sunny though.
No Harriet is not carrying eggs from M15. In the past Harriet has laid eggs the end of November so her fertile period will be in November.
Yes, "slim" the sub adult was with her today. I was here to post the video when I saw your questions.
Vicki, I share that logic lol. Thank you for taking the time to answer everything as always your awesome
Enjoyed the video, we are surely a blessed bunch to see the nest through your eyes. Very thankful for our new cameras the Pritchetts are generous people

10:10 PM: 'NEW' eagle, quite a bit more dirty bird features than the sub adult that has been with Harriet, flies into the nest and looks around for a minute +/- before launching to the porch. Vocale from ?? Harriet in the nest tree somewhere ?? New eagle still perched on the porch at 10:35 PM with a 'peep' or two heard during this time.

Thanks Vicki and everyone who has posted....all the observers are a great addition here to try to understand. Now I get it though sub adult is Slim. Thought that was two different eagles.
This new eagle on the nest is intriguing.....we'll see. Thank you so much for the wonderful observations.
