In parrots the nostrils are called the ceres -I assume it's true for Eagles too.

the cere is the area the nares are located, birds "nostrils" are nares. the cere is where the nares are located.

Thank you both for clarifying the terminology. Now, hopefully someone can confirm if it truly is Harriet w/ the more dainty/feminine looking nares.

Nest Activity Continued

5:10 both in nest tree outer attic branch as seen from cam2. 5:58 vocals. 6:00 vocals. 6:13 I still see two white heads on cam 2 Smile

6:53 both vocalize 6:55 both to the nest moving sticks

7:00 M to attic and the H to porch occasional vocals

7:07 H back to the nest

7:17 M to nest both aerating

7:20 M fly off toward west and back with material

7:22 H to verandah

7:24 M to porch

7:26 H fly off to west

7:30 M still on attic branch

7:37 H flies at nest tree grabs a large branch and returns to the nest.
M hops down to help place it

7:40 M fly off toward west.

7:42 M back with a stick and back to the attic
