NEST ACTIVITY CONTINUED

6:43 Harriet vocalized, it may be her on the branch and M15 may have gone to a front pine. He has been doing that.

6:55 Harriet was in the attic, stretching and vocalizing. Now into nest.
looks like a hole in the middle of the nest ? or is it just me

7:00 Harriet flies across the road.

7:05 She is in a tree with another eagle. I am hoping it is M15. Very vocal. Another pair of Eagles are very vocal on the cell tower.

7:25 both eagles leave the cell tower flying down across the SW tree line.

7:30 Harriet is preening and vocalizing.
M15 is quietly perched to her left on another branch.

7:45 M15 looking around.

7:48 M15 flies left/east into the tree line.

Thank You wskrnwngs for your observations this morning & always!

Hi all!
I read on the chat roll that M15 is estimated to be 5 years old, but I have not read what this conclusion is based on - could you please let me know?

I have some clear pictures to compare from ages early juvenile to adult - a four years old (as Slim) is easy to recognize - but how do you recognize a five years old eagle from the ones older than 5 years?

My sources/pics for different ages:

Hello everyone,

I just read that Crow has set up the Ozzie Memorial Fund for donations that will help wildlife with complex injuries receive treatment. If you wish to donate Crow states to please make sure you mention that it's for the Ozzie Memorial Fund.
