Fly Over & Short Visit To The Nest 10-07-15

No eagles were in the pasture area at daybreak but a familiar looking pair flew the west pasture tree line from north to south at 7:30 am. The sub adult made a short visit to the nest, using it as a look out for sweet Harriet. The way of the eagle continues to unfold before our eyes. May we observe and learn - not judge or predict. Ozzie would want us to go forward with Harriet. Miss you, Ozzie.

Hi All!

Cat, That is a phenomenal post. Thank you for bringing it here. You made a lot of folks' day. I vote for Slim Jim as a name, downright perfect.
I liked him previously but now I love this eagle.

On the one week anniversary of our knowledge of Ozzie's passing, I watched the splendor of the sunset tonight and celebrated Ozzie. I did a short video from my phone that I do not know how to post here. But when I got home and was watching the cams with both Harriet and SA in the nest tree, I saw such a surreal sight.

Wskrsnwings...I saw your Sunset video on FB and it made me smile through tears remembering all the beautiful sunsets at the nest where Ozzie would fly home. (hugs)
