Hi again - thanks for all the observations and scaps, Bev, Michelle, and Judy!

I've been checking out a few rotations and have seen nothing - there does seem to be a lot of 'noisy work' being done around the nest area - perhaps keeping the eagles away for now.

I'm working at my desk - will hop on the NPTZ if anything happens....

3:09pm Eagle calls - sounds like two eagles, but I can't find them - I think they're in the nest tree....

3:22pm More calls - sounded like one this time, and a bit like a juvie 'warbling' sound...maybe a sound Mom is making

3:49pm I am putting the NPTZ back on patrol, but remain signed in....

410pm Nothing new - no more eagle calls heard...

Here's an adult going by Mom's perch at a high rate of speed....4:13pm

Mom and Dad in the nest..Mom making a low, screeping sound...


Both did a bit of digging....


stopped to listen to something..

Mom gave some more low calls and Dad is off at 4:28pm



Dad back with a stick...at 4:28pm

Dad goes off again at 4:30pm


Mom calling quietly...


4:37pm Mom's calls are getting a bit more insistent and she goes to the BSB

Calls very loudly..


and flies off to her perch by the river..
