Sandy made it back and then went to a branch......did I see that correctly or are my eyes deceiving me.....
just checked the post....fantastic news. I stepped away from the computer for a minute.....

I checked the nest and I pretty sure both fish are gone..

I think he stopped to gulp a fish along the way - but yes, that's what I saw, Sandy.


He does seem comfortable perching after spending the night on a perch - perhaps another indication that he (or she) is very close to fledging.

9:25 Sandy is on the nest cleaning up bits of nestover fish by the looks of it. Hope he stays put for awhile as a storm is supposed to come through the Fraser Valley today!

Thanks for the video, Darlene! And thanks for checking the nest for fish, Bev - I suspect Sandy was quite hungry after his adventure, so not surprised if he managed to eat both fish quite quickly.

Sandy returned to the nest a few minutes ago, and is now resting.

Sandy is back on the IC Branch and just completed some wing exercises. At one point Sandy went to the nest but no back on the branch.

Looks like Sandy is ready to go again......no.....
