11:48pm Mom is in the same position - moving some nesting material closer to her breast and preening.



ADD: the archive is up to date to 12:10pm and I didn't see Mom get up again...will check back in a few minutes. She continued to do quite a bit of preening, though....

12:34pm Mom was just up for a quick roll and I missed the scap - she's settled now in a slightly different position.


12:37pm I don't see Dad perched at the riverview...it's quite cloudy today - maybe he is there among the leaves.


12:47pm I had a look around in the treetops and don't see Dad. Mom seems quiet and content on the eggs - and doesn't seem as bothered by flies as she and Dad have been in the last few days when it was warmer.

12:51pm Mom checking around -

From the archive - Mom was up again at 12:14pm to preen and to roll the eggs.

And she was just up at 1:01pm to preen her chest feathers - I only caught a quick glance at one egg - I'm not sure she actually rolled them, but it looked as if she gave them a nudge...


1:06pm I must go - will put the NPTZ back on patrol

Hi again - checking the archive which is not quite up to date [to 1:46pm] - Mom was trilling loudly at 1:45pm and looking around - it seems she would really like a break!

LOL Just as I was leaving, Mom got up to give both eggs a really good roll and change position.

2:20pm She's busy rearranging the nest material...

Ma is calling out for Pa.


Now she's turning the eggs....


before settling back down on eggs and drawing nesting material around her.

2:28pm Mom calling loudly and insistently!



at 2:32pm she is up and rolls the eggs..
