Hi again - Thanks Bev and Gail for the up-dates from this evening

Looking at the archives ...

8:17pm Mom preening her feathers, then up to preen her brood patch area...



She gave the egg on the left a roll - then settled back on the eggs...


Thanks Karen - talons crossed!

Mom was up at 8:38pm - more preening on her brood patch area - an eggs roll, and settled back down..

Mom up again at 9:31pm - preened her chest area. She dug in the nest a bit and rolled both eggs...

Mom up at 10:10pm More preening and a good chin scratch...



And a nice eggs roll..


It's that time of year with lots of insect eggs hatching - looks like Mom is a bit bothered by them...

Mom was up for another eggs roll at 11:05pm

ADD: I didn't see any sign of a visit from Dad this evening...
