Good posts Ernie and Christine. Wouldn't you know it - the great return occurred while I was taking a shower etc.

I do have a recording of it. I love the sequence of Dad following her in with a fish. He wasn't real enthused about giving it to her. He kept dancing away and around the perimeter of the nest box with her following.

When they both were there, one hopped to the spot by the pole and every once in a while there was a head.

Yippee! This made my night. I'm not an experienced watcher but I'm guessing that we don't need "iris scans" to confirm this is Mom - based on her returning to the nest and the easy acceptance by Dad. ? would this be right?

...I was driving home when I got the heads up Christine from you ---

Bet thank goodness you caught that on recording...the scaps from you both are so clear...so wonderful to see her!
That was Mom's head that we were seeing just out of view! I saw her bobbing in and out of view...how exciting!

I was waiting for the view to stop pixelating to get a better shot of Dad with the fish....is this another one or the same one?

Dad seemed to be hogging it.....both have left the nest box at 9:12pm
