12:46 pm

The nest has been empty for over an hour, at least when I have looked in. Dad had been in and out around 10:15 to 10:30 am, he tried to mate with Mom a couple of times this morning but she must have had a headache.

Hopefully the fishing is good!

Wow, BET! How did you get those clear wing images? I didn't think that was possible, thanks so much.

I had the cam up this afternoon but was not watching constantly. Mom and Dad seemed to be away from the nest a fair bit and not always there together but they have it in much better shape over the past few days. Smile

Since I tuned in at 8 pm there have not been any visitors to the nest that I have seen. At 9:00 pm it is dark now and it would be surprising to see anyone visit now. Byebye

Dad decides to have a rest in the bowl.
By 6:55 a.m Dad is still resting comfortably while he and Mom watch the river. If I didn't know it was him and had only just turned on the camera for the first time I'd probably think we had eggs, which we don't.

Morning All. Interesting about the transmission. I note it's the evening early morning hours that the images were clear. Maybe just a happenstance last night, but I think we should try to keep track of the "clear" images and the time. Maybe it's a power usage at EnMax office and when the work day is over, the power usage drain is lowered and the cam has what it needs.

Good morning Bet and Judy, interesting theory re: our power problems here and that sounds reasonable Bet.

Thanks for the early scaps, great wing shots Judy, even the "artistic" ones. Grin But is is difficult to see exactly what is happening with the multiple images at times.

I have had the cam up since 8:30 am but am having some problems posting. Bash computer It has been a quiet morning with lots and ins and outs by Dad and Mom, and Mom has even brought in a few sticks. Unfortunately a long thin one was lost a few minutes after Mom placed it precariously on the right side of the nest at 10:38 am. and it fell to the ground. Oh My

11:14 - 20 am The ospreys seem to be taking turns on the nest today, leaving it empty for only a few minutes but I haven't seen any problems so far, just an unseasonably warm day here, being enjoyed by Mom now as she suns in her nest. Sunny
