Hey Judy, Dad had to check out the "comfy" rating for Mom. Also, he needed his rest for his next performance

A comparison of the nest from April 18, 2014 and April 18, 2015. I'd say they are miles ahead of last year and the weather is so much better.

8:25 am
Mom landed on the nest. Dad (I hope it was him) landed to mate then promptly flew off again. His leaving so abruptly is making me wonder if it actually was him. Mom didn't react with any alarm when he followed her in so I have faith it was Dad.

Dad returned to the nest.

8:35 am
Dad flew off to the left of screen. Mom seems quite content to remain where she is.

8:41 am
Dad turned with a small stick.

8:46 am
Dad has been out and came back with another stick with old dry leaves attached. This one Mom takes an interest in and helps Dad find a place for it.

Mom is off again to do more stick gathering. Dad waits.

8:58 am
Mom returned with another stick.

9;00 am
Dad flew off and Mom leaves as well. Nest is empty at this time and....

Out I'm off.
The weather is too beautiful here to stay indoors -- will be out and about today !

Hi Judy and thanks for the great morning coverage. There have been many ins and outs of the nest and they continued after you left.

At 9:10 am Mom came home and sat preening and Dad returned and attempted to mate with her at 9:21. Mom didn't lift her tail. He remained on the nest awhile and they are so cute sitting side by side. love The back and forth continued by Dad mostly, he fetched another stick or two and once at 10:05 am Mom left very abruptly.

10:08 am Back together 10:14 am Both were gone and on it went this morning until both said adios and left at 10:18 am.

10:51 am The nest remains empty, we need a "Gone Fishing" sign here.Smile
I spoke too soon. Mom flies in at 10:52 am.

I forgot to mention that I saw a suspicious wad in the nest, Mom is standing over it now and I hope that I am in error in thinking that it is a plastic bag. Awesome, Mom moved and the offending trash has blown off the nest at 10:59 am.Grin

Hello everyone, and thank you JD, BET, and Judy and all for the excellent coverage here

I haven't been able to get the live feed....but keeping fingers crossed that they are working on things to help
clear up the issues that we have been experiencing with focus here

JD thank goodness that plastic blew away....I really wish people would be more careful about their garbage,
there seems to be so much more this year blowing about, with all the strong winds we have been experiencing
