There were very light snow flakes this morning and still a dusting of snow on the ground in some yards so I'm calling this a white Christmas.

Hope everyone is recovering from the Christmas activities.

The tornadoes & rain to our north & east has been atrocious. I see LInda is in bad weather, too.
It's 74 here, way humid & we're waiting for big .
no severe weather but they've already issued a flash flood watch until Monday morning.

Hello Friends, I loved all the posted Christmas wishes, I hope you all had a very good Christmas.

Naoma, I'm with you Scott's light snow sounds wonderful.

We are just expecting rain, heavy at times. Flooding is expected along the rivers and streams. If it was cold I would be out shoveling inches of the white stuff. I drove down the River Road Christmas Eve morning and there was already flooding at some areas near and at Grafton IL. Very unusual this time of the year. I saw only one young eagle. Here is a couple photos.




Lynn is doing well, I made sure she did not have any stress of preparing food. We are looking forward to finally seeing the oncologists on Wednesday. Hopefully treatment will begin the first of the year. There is preparation that has to be done first as Doreen would know. They will make sure that the mass site is accurately marked on Lynn's chest area. Also she will have a port-a-cath inserted for chemo that will remain in her upper chest area until the chemo is done. Thank you again for all your good wishes for my sister.

We had an awesome Christmas at Stacy, Jimmy, and Marinda's. Jimmy surprised Stacy with an engagement ring, she of course said yes when he proposed on one knee. Please do not say anything on Facebook, Stacy wants to tell her best friends first and others.
