Judi, Did Jayden get lots of presents from Santa this year?

Naoma,Jean, and Carolyn, I hope you three were far from the tornadoes that hit Dallas. So very sad. We will be getting around 7-10 inches of rain, so flooding is a big issue. We live in the highland area above the rivers, so no real issue for me and my family. We all have stump pumps and they are working full time. Rain again tomorrow, then finally clearing on Tuesday.

The snow in Vancouver sounds very lovely. Thank goodness we are in the 50's F otherwise we would be buried in snow.

Tornadoes took their toll on eastern suburbs of Dallas last night. It appears the states NE of us are about to get more of the same weather they suffered last week.

Not good that there's already a swollen river before the next flooding starts.
We were at RayRob on Tues. with it 5.5 ft. over & the coves were way out of their banks. Some of the campgrounds were closed down with camp sites under water. This morning it's risen another ft. to 6.5 over. I'm guessing some of the main park road will be under water before the day's over.

Hello Naoma, that sounds like your area is getting lots of rain too. I think this rain front is coming up to our area from your area.

I think the cold front that went thru late Fri is now backing up on us & bringing more rain from the gulf.

Here's great nephew Sterling I met last weekend. He's our first baby in l5 years.

What joyful fun we had passing him around, taking turns letting him entertain us.

Naoma, Sterling is so adorable!!!! I bet you did have fun passing him around. They bring such joy and laughter to a family.

I was wrong about our temp, it is actually 37 F, just 5 degrees lower and we will have snow. It is not forecasted, so I hope they know what they are talking about. The rain never did stop, it is just not as heavy as yesterday.
