went to eye specialist for cataracts today, second apt. with this outfit, they are very highly regarded around here and i am glad i was told of them. have my first eye scheduled for new lense on 3-30th, 2nd eye to be done on 4-13th. i opted out of have the special lense for people with astigmatisms, as you pay for that all on your own, $1300. an eye, and my Dr told me i will be very happy with my new vision with my new lenses, compared to now, i will see way better. Clapping at my age i can live with the astigmatisms and even glasses as i'm so used to them, and the glasses will be much thinner and lighter he said.

Naoma, last night meant to tell you that was a pretty hawk you posted Wub

Elle, oh my gosh! glad you weren't seriously hurt, could of stuck you in your eye! yep, eyes just ended blurriness couple hours ago, that part is lousy in all the exams, but very necessary they say. hard to do anything with our eyes like that. i can get rested but staying warm another story! Don't Panic so fridged cold out every darn day, and have that biting wind also making it worse every day Mad Sunday may rain so might be little warmer, but Pats will have to play in the rain, so hoping it doesn't rain now Wink

Carolyn, yep, all scheduled now for late March and April, can't wait to see better. sick of having to use a magnifier to see everything. hope all well with you and family Left thumb up funny the things we think of some days huh, like old jobs Grin i try to forget most of my old jobs. Nodding yes

Scott, oh, so glad to read about your brother's eye surgery, hope he does just as great with the 2nd eye too Clapping hoping mine all goes smooth like that also, wish i could of had the astigmatisms fixed too but so much money and i'm not a kid anymore, so don't care about having to wear glasses, in fact, feel naked when i have them off, but the astigmatisms also cause you to not see as well as you could. anyway, nice updates, ty for each days smile. Left thumb up

Jean, hope the shakin ceases so everyone can calm down, i imagine some people get all shhok up Grin and ty for the prayers for all to go well today, it did, well, almost perfect, was hoping to see $2600. drop from the sky LOL never happened , so guess i don't really need that part Left thumb up

Linda, i hope that fb thing is all over for you, sometimes those incidents take awhile to completely get rid of. i like fb too, just don't think they take good care to keep out that stuff. yep, 2 days is perfect, for now. glad you are finally getting some nicer weather, and enjoy your day. like the pics again, and the little sparrow Wub

wave Anna, Annie, Judi, Iona, and everyone, have a nice evening and sleep well sleepy may not get here tomorrow, working

I think you'll be very happy after the surgery is done Doreen. My brother can't believe how much better he can see even since yesterday and another friend who had the same procedure a couple of months ago had the same reaction. When the hockey game started tonight my brother says "Wow...those uniforms are really red!" I told him that's how they've always been. Titter

We had some sun todaySunny! And we did the Oak Bay nest tour after lunch. Mr Firehall was in his nest! And Mr Anderson Hill was in his lookout perch tree.

The girls were away... having lunch perhaps. Smile

Mr Firehall jumping for joy. He should be very proud of his magnificent nest!

We drove along the waterfront on the way home and went by a friend's house in our old neighbourhood. Look what was hiding at the back of his house!

Beautiful pics of the Firehall & Anderson Hill eagles and nice surprise find of the sub adult elle. Smile
The Firehall pair have built a great nest in a very sturdy looking tree. Still a pity about the destruction going on below.

wave Good Morning...

Red Heart Doree Red Heart ~ Good luck with your eye surgery, GF.

I've never minded wearing glasses either...also feel more comfortable with than without...but the special lens for astigmatism sounds great.

Have you checked with your eye specialist as to an interest free medical loan to help with your surgery? I do know interest free dental loans are offered...not sure about those.

If you ever do spot that money dropping cloud...please, give me a yell...I'll be right there beside you with my beach umbrella turned upside down, GF. Grin

I highly doubt there is any way possible for FB to keep the hackers away but it is good to know once reported their current scheme is stopped right away...of course they just start a new one up. Sad

Carolyn ~ Looking forward to a sunny 65F here...one degree below The Woodlands predicted high...that should be enough to keep us both smiling today. Smile

Nice 2014 picture of Juliet in her den, Scootie.

I had no idea cataract surgery made colors appear brighter...that's great.

I'm happy your brother is enjoying his new and improved vision. Left thumb up

Thanks for sharing the Misters Firehall & Anderson Hill, elle~elle...also your old neighborhood sub adult.

Enjoy your day Friends...

Big hugs

Byebye
