went to eye specialist for cataracts today, second apt. with this outfit, they are very highly regarded around here and i am glad i was told of them. have my first eye scheduled for new lense on 3-30th, 2nd eye to be done on 4-13th. i opted out of have the special lense for people with astigmatisms, as you pay for that all on your own, $1300. an eye, and my Dr told me i will be very happy with my new vision with my new lenses, compared to now, i will see way better. at my age i can live with the astigmatisms and even glasses as i'm so used to them, and the glasses will be much thinner and lighter he said.
Naoma, last night meant to tell you that was a pretty hawk you posted
Elle, oh my gosh! glad you weren't seriously hurt, could of stuck you in your eye! yep, eyes just ended blurriness couple hours ago, that part is lousy in all the exams, but very necessary they say. hard to do anything with our eyes like that. i can get rested but staying warm another story! so fridged cold out every darn day, and have that biting wind also making it worse every day Sunday may rain so might be little warmer, but Pats will have to play in the rain, so hoping it doesn't rain now
Carolyn, yep, all scheduled now for late March and April, can't wait to see better. sick of having to use a magnifier to see everything. hope all well with you and family funny the things we think of some days huh, like old jobs i try to forget most of my old jobs.
Scott, oh, so glad to read about your brother's eye surgery, hope he does just as great with the 2nd eye too hoping mine all goes smooth like that also, wish i could of had the astigmatisms fixed too but so much money and i'm not a kid anymore, so don't care about having to wear glasses, in fact, feel naked when i have them off, but the astigmatisms also cause you to not see as well as you could. anyway, nice updates, ty for each days smile.
Jean, hope the shakin ceases so everyone can calm down, i imagine some people get all shhok up and ty for the prayers for all to go well today, it did, well, almost perfect, was hoping to see $2600. drop from the sky never happened , so guess i don't really need that part
Linda, i hope that fb thing is all over for you, sometimes those incidents take awhile to completely get rid of. i like fb too, just don't think they take good care to keep out that stuff. yep, 2 days is perfect, for now. glad you are finally getting some nicer weather, and enjoy your day. like the pics again, and the little sparrow
Anna, Annie, Judi, Iona, and everyone, have a nice evening and sleep well may not get here tomorrow, working

Beautiful pics of the Firehall & Anderson Hill eagles and nice surprise find of the sub adult elle.
The Firehall pair have built a great nest in a very sturdy looking tree. Still a pity about the destruction going on below.
