Another beautiful day on the nest, spring is springing

found this video from Brin Dempski on FB and asked to share it, they did a wonderful job and love the music Cool

Meahwhile.. our little eaglets here are growing like the weeds in my flower beds, we have little pins starting on the wings to produce those lovely contour and primaries needed for flight..
the thermal down feathers are keeping the eaglets warm enough and good thing since they are too big to fit under the parents now

Good Morning Bev, Mary, Lonette and all who watch this nest

a nice pose of the eaglets along with mom... noticing the pin feathers popping and the formation of them compared to mom.. nice neat rows Wink
They will really be putting on weight now and growing quiet quickly, their feathers will continue to grow and lengthen. They will be standing more and moving more around the nest

I love how the eaglet and mom are in the same wing position and body Red Heart

Hi Lynne!! I'm not sure how you got into the forum to post the last couple of days--you must have some magic!! I was down for the better part of 2 days LOL!!

Images courtesy of Pennsylvania Game Commission

The first picture here is from the 11th and the other 2 from the 12th Grin

That second coat of dark gray down coming in well and all those cute tufts of light gray from their baby coats poking up---soon we will be seeing pin feathers. Love the hair-dos!! They grow so darn fast!
