There's a chick. I haven't seen it yet, but there are pictures on Facebook - hatched about 8:25 am. Today is day 38 for the first egg and day 35 for the second, so it could be either one - but I'm guessing it's the first egg, and with a bit of luck there will be a second chick later today or tomorrow.

And the adult started to get up - and the cam froze.

Judy the chick was moving around away, slightly from the shell, but shell was still in the nest at the bottom end

So happy for the Hanover Eagles, first hatch today and second egg pip time should start tomorrowish

And how wonderful for the Aunties! I'm currently in the air heading back to Arizona and finally had time to check in!! Can't wait to see the wee one(s) tomorrow!

I think I read somewhere that names had been picked. Were those names for the eggs or the chicks?

Just wondering if I needed to put my thinking cap on!

I found this video by Terri Sluss-Cole on FB--it's OK to share it. This may be the first attempt at feeding the new bobble head and it was REALLY bobbling.
