Mom Hanover appears to be listening and looking down a lot, we either have a pip or hatch in progress

Good morning, everyone!

There's a chick. I haven't seen it yet, but there are pictures on Facebook - hatched about 8:25 am. Today is day 38 for the first egg and day 35 for the second, so it could be either one - but I'm guessing it's the first egg, and with a bit of luck there will be a second chick later today or tomorrow.

Just saw your picture Lynne (I do hope Ken is able to work his magic and get up back up to speed soon, so to speak) - was the chick out of the shell, or was the hatch still in progress?
