Am I right in that you can walk to both this nest and the Lafarge/Pandora nest? They must be relatively close to each other. I must check a map! Thank you for your update!

Both within walking distance stim......the Pandora location being just a few blocks further of a walk from home.

Haven't been by for a while but after the violent wind storm last night wanted to see the current condition of the new nest. It looked structurally sound even though the ground underneath the nest tree was covered with small fir and cottonwood branches.
I did notice some larger cottonwood branches around the top of the nest so even though nobody was around today it looks like they've been hard at work to try and make it a go

Great news Stan. After the velocity and length of time those winds came through I'm sure some nests suffered. So glad to hear your Hastings couple still has this nest.
