Hello Everyone,

We had an appointment in Vancouver on Monday, and on our way home we stopped by to check on this nest. I am so glad I had my camera with me because Ma was at home!!

She was sitting just above the nest, watching a Juvenile fly by over head.

Our visit was a short one, as she took off toward the PNE, and we had to head to another appointment. My talons are crossed that these two have a successful season. They deserve it after the last two seasons they've had.

Cheers

Hi friends of Hastings nest

All the best for the Hastings eagles this year...glad to see they have returned to the nest. The Vanier Eagles are already incubating after having no success the last 2 years. I hope this is a better year for everyone.

Hi Everyone,

Hey sctth4, where did you get the pictures of the Osprey??! Nice!

We stopped at the nest for a brief, very brief time on Wednesday. I was able to take a couple of shots of Ma sitting on a branch in the tree next to the nest tree. Also had a nice visit with Larry. But with the wind picking up so quickly, I packed up. And, of course, I no sooner get things put away, and Ma decides to take flight. She flew around over the parking lot, as if she was saying hi to us. We waved back. She entered the nest and hunkered down as if to take cover from the weather.

I think this nest has gotten bigger since our last visit!

I'm curious to see how it stood up to the Wednesday Night/Thursday Morning wind storm. Talons crossed everything is good.

Hello Everyone!

After a little engagement we attended this morning, we decided to take a quick stop by for a visit to see how this nest made out in the storm on Wednesday night/Thursday morning, and it did just fine.Phew
Stan and Annemie arrived just as we were getting set up, and told us of the events at the Strathcona Eagle release. Good to see you guys again. Sorry it was such a short visit.
Ma was sitting on a branch just up from the nest when we arrived.

Jason arrived on the scene for a brief visit. He filled me in on more of the Strathcona release. When I turned to look, Ma was gone! But not for long. I turned back around and she come around the tree and went straight into the nest.

The way she cautiously entered the nest, and did the waddle/bum wiggle made me think that there is a possibility that there may be egg(s)?! Roll eyes Chin
Talons crossed!!
Cheers
