Hi All!

Annemie....Great news about the new nest. It's amazing how eagles just forge on finding their way, isn't it?

1.15 PM Friday Oct.24th....

Both adults on perch just above the new nest. Both preening and looking pretty content Cool

Lots of fir branches down from the recent violent wind and rain storm but nothing on the ground from the new nest. In the 10x42 binoculars it looked in real good shape Left thumb up

Thank you Carolyn and Irish Eyes for dropping in. Red Heart

Yes Carolyn all animals are amazing that way.
There are so many animals in our back yard, I feel like I am living in a zoo.
I have no idea where they are all sleeping, and how they find food to survive, here in this big city.

Annemie and Stan showed me where to go to see the Hastings nest yesterday. (Thanks , Annemie and Stan!) I took a couple of pictures of the nest and perch trees. It looks pretty sturdy - as Annemie says, it's going to be a mansion!

Wow, impressive! They have been busy! I hope there are sturdier branches under there than the one sticking out our way!

Good Day Sharon, Sandra, Carolyn, Karen, Irish Eyes, Marg, Shrub, Stan, Confusion Circle, Urban Eagle, Daybreak, Diana and all lovers of these eagles.

Stim, I also hope that the branches under the nest are sturdier than the branch sticking out to the side.
Shrub's husband Steward spotted the new nest first.
The new nest was already half way constructed by then.
It was impossible at that time, to see the branches that the nest was sitting on.
The first time I saw the nest, I was already worried that the nest might be
to high up in the tree where all the branches look so skinny.
I believe that Karen might have shown or will show the nest to David.
They might know what is up with that.
We'll find out.

That is such a good picture that Sharon posted so I sent it to David for viewing. Thanks, Sharon.
