Just a couple more Pictures of Pa and his youngsters. I think they were intrigued by all the people arriving for Cirque du Soleil.

These two youngsters are getting to the stage where their own personalities are starting to show, and stuff starts to become really interesting!

Stan and I walked around the Hastings lake to see all the baby ducks and baby geese and there are many of them.
We count all the babies when we go to the lake and every time one baby is missing.
Never the less, one duck family with 9 two day old chicks were swimming along the shore not far from were Ma was sitting on a log.

The ducks on the lake did not seem to be afraid of ma.

Ma must have been thirsty as I saw her take a drink at least 3 times.

Ma was enjoying herself and stayed put for at least 10 minutes.

Stan and I came to the spot where the eagles nest is and saw ma flying in from the lake.

We went closer to the nest and saw ma, pa, and a part of one eaglet behind ma.

Hello Everyone!

Fantastic pictures Annemie! I love the ones of Ma on the little lake. All the little goslings are really cute!

We stopped by for a visit on Thursday evening. Being that is was so warm, not much was happening. Sunny Just as we arrived, Pa was leaving and Ma was perched on a branch just up from the nest, where she stayed the entire time we were there. The little ones for the most part, remained sprawled out in the nest.

Every once in a while, we would see the odd wing stretch, and one of them made a brief appearance to do some very quick wingersizes, but was quick to stretch back down in the nest. These two are getting so big!
With the days getting longer, our evening visits can be a little longer too. Nodding yes

Cheers

Thank you for your nice words Shrub and Karen.
Thank you Shrub for your pictures as well.
Pa/ma sure know how to hide lol.
That eaglet looks so funny when he puts his little angel wings up in the air.
They are so adorable.
Great detail on the chicks Heather. Wub
