Wonderful to hear and see two eaglets in the nest. Thanks so much to the faithful ground observers reporting here regularly.

Friends of these Eagles,
Gina and I made a trip to this nest about 1:30 both adults were in the nest
when we arrived but by the time i set up one had left (to get lunch maybe)
We waited for over an hour but no sign of the other adults return.
While all the time the chicks took turns begging Mom.

Larry, I just love your pictures, thank you so much.
Stan and I visited the nest yesterday.
All is well with the Hastings eagles.
As we walked through Hastings park, we could see ma in the distance.



As we got closer, we got a better shot of ma

Ma is looking at her chicks.



Pa flies in.



Ma is feeding her chicks.
You can see one chick to the left of ma and pa watches from the right hand of ma sitting in the tree.

Friends of these Eagles,
I made a short stop by this nest after Pandora/Lafarge.
Found both adults home watching over their chick's who were both napping.

Hello Everyone!

Annemie and Larry, thanks for sharing your pictures! I can't get over how big the youngsters from this nest are already!

We stopped by for a visit Thursday Night, after dinner. Both babies were sitting up, and looking out of the nest, while Ma sat just up and left of the nest hidden in amongst the branches.


We were only there for a very short time when Pa arrived on the scene with a load of branches.


Ma was quick to exit and left Pa to watch over his not so little ones.


It was quite warm out, but that didn't stop the siblings from squabbling in the nest, while Pa vented.
