Dad landed for a mating. I wasn't fast enough to catch the action until he was flying off but Mom was still beak down into the nest with her tail in the air.

Good morning, thanks for the s'caps, Judy. Lovely sunshine predicted for the next two days.Sunny

10:34am The nest was empty a min. ago but it couldn't have been for long as Mom has been hanging out whenever I looked in with Dad coming and going. They look to be guarding their prime territory very well and one flew in as I posted but is out at 10:39 am. That might have been Dad, not sure.

Mating occurred, but Dad did not fly off. Moved to the side and acted as if there was an intruder near by. Then he flew off.

If you blinked, you missed it. Dad performed one of his lightning quick matings. 10 seconds Roll eyes

Dad stopped in and stood for a couple of moments before flying off again. I didn't notice whether or not he had anything in his talons when he landed. Except for a quick glance Mom completely ignored his presence. She has been busy watching something on the north channel or the river.

Dad is home again with what looks like part of a fish. With the haze on the cam it's really hard to make out any detail to see exactly what he has.

8:23 am
Mom did a bit of stick moving and nest fluffing but didn't bother with taking the fish from Dad. She must have other things on her mind --- maybe, just maybe, today is "E" day fingers crossed I know it's a bit early but they also arrived a bit earlier this year.

8:25 am
Dad flew off with his fish.

Mom resumes fluffing the bowl area.

8:31 am
Dad returned with the fish and this time Mom took it from him and flew off with it leaving him home to tend the nest..

While Mom's off with her fish Dad takes the opportunity to test the comfort level of the bowl Grin
Anyone just turning on the cam would likely think with Dad laying in the nest that there was an egg there but ...... not yet.

8:44 am
Dad still keeping himself comfortable. He's really in the practice mode today.

8:56 am
Dad flew off and the nest is now empty.

Good afternoon and thanks for the weather and your s'caps this morning, Judy. It is 16C and Mom is sitting in the sunshine mid-nest watching the river @ 1:08 pm. Glad you saw her get a fish earlier, Judy.

I had the cam up from 9:30 to just after 11:00am and saw Dad flying in and out doing a bit of nestorating and looking around.Mom joined him for a while and they were in and out.

1:18 pm. Dad just joined Mom in the nest, both looking southward on this lovely afternoon. I must make use of this good weather too. Byebye
