6:05 pm Dad joined Mom and then was in and out several times, bringing in a stick at 6:08, before flaring his wings at 6:17 pm.. - both acted like there was a threat.

6:55 pm Mom Home alone.

7:05 pm Dad and Mom together on the nest gazing at the river. Looks like they are vocalizing and are still under threat. Yes, one flared wings, very upset and defensive.

wave Good Morning, Calgary.

Thanks for the great s'caps of the fish delivery, Judy., and the weather. I have had the cam up since just before 8 am when both were in the nest and Dad has been in and out several times since then. There may have been a threat at 7:57 as wings were flared.

At 8:33 am there was a mating as now at 8:40 am, both times Dad flying off immediately.

***Just wanted to say thanks for the pictures & updates. Haven't had enough time to go down to visit the nest yet. I( may be able to pop down to congratulate the happy couple after the first egg is laid!! I forgot how to post without the quote aspect. Hope to figure it out if things will settle down.

Hi Ernie, good to hear from you. Just hit the post reply that is outside the box and you can then reply without quoting.

Love the s`caps, Bet. Dad was in and out often while I watched this am. It finally warmed up late this afternoon and we should have a couple of warmer days Tues. and Wed., at long last!

Dad delivered a talon full of grass which he immediately spread in the bowl . Mom moved to the side of the bowl to let Dad have more room for his renovations but didn't seem to take an interest in what he's doing.

8:24 am
Dad flew off and shortly afterward Mom decided to begin a few small nest renovations.
